I would like to create a new family tree but am wondering how best to proceed. I have an administrator sign-on for a tree on my maternal side but I am not the primary "owner".

The new tree would be for my paternal branch of my family tree.

Should I create a new tree with my current sign-on I have from the maternal tree? Or is it better to start afresh, to avoid confusion on billing and not utilize data that I have not paid for?

Appreciate any guidance.

Hi Claire if you make a NEW MATERNAL tree you will overwrite te ORIGINAL in which you only have a share. You would have to ask the otr owener.

Otherwise make a NEW TREE in the PATERNAL and if it is just a NEW TREE just uploadwhat you wish. I would mentionthis ti te other owner of the MATERNAL site, just in case.
