An invisible story

I have many stories in TP and whilst posting a new one my computer froze and I had to reboot. I was not too worried about re-posting the story as it was saved in WORD, but I see my original attempt created a '>' marker but no subject headline. So in effect a blank space, with stories above and below. However, by clicking the '>' the story appears, without a headline box and without an EDIT, which means it cannot be deleted.

It may seem not a big deal, but I would like to delete the item even though only showing a '>'. Any ideas how to do this?

Hi Bob,

Seems a silly question , but are you opening in Administator then Edit which you should do ,nstead of VISITOR

When you select you STORY menu and select this particular story

Do you see EDIT STORY also PHOTOS in small boxes..

If so TRY the PHOTOS which may let you in.

Let me know how you get on.

All the best

Hi Les, yes absolutely as Administrator, my own Family Tree, long created and well aware when stories open the option to add photos, or edit shows. If edit is chosen then of course the story can be deleted. But Edit does not shown, only Photos (which incidentally does not let me in). So effectively when the > is clicked the story shows and when closed the > shows as a line item without a subject heading - hence an invisible story.

Thanks for getting in touch
