My 2nd great grandfather George Brown born 1787 Rowan Co, NC married Sarah Stough 1807 Cabarrus Co, NC. They live there and owned land a few years. Were on Rowan Co tax list 1815 and 1820 census. By 1822 they were in Union Co, IL. We need proof of who his parents were. We think William Brown and Phoebe Gilliam. DNA say's I am from this family line. Please help if you can. Thank You.
