I am requesting addition of a feature to administration of family trees.

I am the administrator of my family's tree. I receive many requests to remove individuals from the tree. However the requesting parties are typically motivated by emotion without concern for historical accuracy. Consequently, I would very much like to have the ability to "hide" an individual person in the tree. For example, I would like to hide a divorced spouse from being displayed to the tree viewers (non-administrators). However, I don't want to delete the person and lose the information, so I'd like to keep the record hidden for future reference and use (i.e. the record could be not hidden at some appropriate time in the future).
