About the Seaver Family - Parishville NY to Bertha MN and Beyond
Welcome to the Genealogy site for Orin and Elizabeth Seaver (1822-1880) and earlier! This Site has been created by Gail Alan Seaver of Brooklyn Park, MN. Much of the ground work for data provided in this site was prepared by Stanley Kilbourne Seaver (1916-2003) of Hartford CT who did a family Genealogy in 1991. I have picked up, updated, and expanded on Stanley's work. I ENCOURAGE YOU TO SIGN THE GUEST BOOK WHEN YOU VIEW THIS SITE AND LEAVE A MESSAGE OR COMMENTS. There is still much work to be done on this site as the data since 1991 still needs to be entered. If you are able to help with this by providing names, birth dates, deaths, marriage dates, and photos, I would greatly appreciate your help. You can contact me by email at gseaver@hotmail.com or thru this site. Please note that security for this site has been set to prevent anyone from viewing data of living persons unless they have been provided the viewing password. I encourage you to explore this site by finding your name in the pull-down menu's and selecting the different options for viewing your family and relatives. Along with this site, I am creating a book for the Seaver Family. If you wish to be on the email update list to receive Chapters of the book as they are released, please let me know. Now, go forth and enjoy!

Getting Around There are several ways to browse the family tree. The Tree View graphically shows the relationship of selected person to their kin. The Family View shows the person you have selected in the center, with his/her photo on the left and notes on the right. Above are the father and mother and below are the children. The Ancestor Chart shows the person you have selected in the left, with the photograph above and children below. On the right are the parents, grandparents and great-grandparents. The Descendant Chart shows the person you have selected in the left, with the photograph and parents below. On the right are the children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Do you know who your second cousins are? Try the Kinship Relationships Tool. Your site can generate various Reports for each name in your family tree. You can select a name from the list on the top-right menu bar.
In addition to the charts and reports you have Photo Albums, the Events list and the Relationships tool. Family photographs are organized in the Photo Index. Each Album's photographs are accompanied by a caption. To enlarge a photograph just click on it. Keep up with the family birthdays and anniversaries in the Events list. Birthdays and Anniversaries of living persons are listed by month. Want to know how you are related to anybody ? Check out the Relationships tool. |
