My DNA with familytreedna.org connects me back to U. K.
It seems that my GRIFFIN name is pure of the Sin of Internationalism? But, for the WATTS, via the RICHARDSON side there is a lot of Cherokee, in that John A. Richardson, born 1822, is my greatgreatgrandfather, who was a descendant of Chief White Cloud. One of the daughters of John A. Richadson, Martha Ann Richardson, married David Moore Watts. The other line is NORWOOD which is either Cherokee, or Choctaw.
The son of David Moore Watts, who married Martha Ann Richardson, had son John Vinson Watts, who married Carrie Ann Norwood, daughter of my greatgrandfather John Washington Norwood IV, who married Margaret Caroline Hall. Seems that the NORWOOD is full of either Cherokee, or Choctaw lines?
